Fridays in Lent Series: Stations of the Cross, Benediction and reflection by Msgr. Thomas Olszyk

Posted on April 07, 2014

Please join us this Friday for Stations of the Cross and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament at 6:30pm.

Supper and lecture immediately after. Msgr. Thomas Olszyk will reflect on Stations of Grace - The Sixth Century Lent of St. Gregory the Great and its revival in our times. We will explore the ancient tradition of Rome's “station churches” and the custom of visiting a different church on each of the forty days Lent, and the singing of the Litany of the Saints.

Msgr. Olszyk is the judicial vicar of the Archdiocese for Military Services and a retired Air Force chaplain with twenty-three years of service.
